Al-Mahmoud explained that the term "leaders of public opinion" is large and internationally known chain  who get the media's attention worldwide due to the fact that  they can easily influence people's minds and attract their attention.He defined the theory of the priorities order that emphasizes what the media want s,is what is focused on.Quoting Cohen,one of the pioneers of this theory" Mass media is not always successful of helping people how to think but  they are so at what they have to think about".

Al-Mahmoud mentioned  some of the mass media  theories  including the theory of cultural planting (mass media tries to plant  what it needs  in people's minds)and the theory of media focus analysis(which focus on events rather than others  . In order to explore the leaders of public opinion,Al-Mahmoud stressed that we should know who are the most effective and how we recruit them for that purpose ".

Mr .Al-Mahmoud  called attention to  look for the economy when political crises take place. He

concluded by emphasizing that the economy is part and parcel of every body's life.
