The Requirements Unit exerts efforts to arm its students with the necessary language and computer skills as well as to enhance learner autonomy to open the gate for communicating with different Arab and international information sources. Thus, it does its best to enrich the students’ personalities with avenues of human knowledge to build a balanced personality.
There are two types of courses:
1-Mandatory courses : Arabic, English, Computer Skills and Students Activities.
2-Electives :Psychology, Sociology, Modern & Contemporary Arab History, Environment, French, Basics of Administration, Projects Assessment and Feasibility Study (The student may choose one or more in the light of the study plan set up for each major.)

What makes it unique is that the Unit adopts a developed and modern programme based on teaching the linguistic functions of the language as used in real life situations focusing on the writing, reading, listening, and speaking skills, the thing that gives the learner the opportunity to think and express himself fluently.

Mastering English is much of anecessity, particularly taking into consideration that the University of Kalamoon uses English in the teaching of many of the specialization courses.
The program aims to develop the English language skills of the student in reading, writing, speaking and listening, enabling him to use English references in his field, follow-up lectures, conferences and specialized seminars, and read about new theories and discoveries.
The English courses are compulsory, which students of all specializations should take.
