Biotechnology and its Applications in the Medical Fields
/in news /by Wajdan.UOKUnder the patronage of the President of the University of Qalamoon, Dr. Mohammed Adel Jawad, and in cooperation with the General Authority for Biotechnology, Al-Fares Supplies and Dental Materials Company, the University of Qalamoon organized the first joint scientific day entitled: “Biotechnology and its Applications in the Medical Fields.”
Dr. Mohammed Adel Jawad opened the scientific day by welcoming the attendees, praising the efforts of those responsible for this day, and hoping that we will benefit from the scientific achievements in this field.
Dr. Nizar Issa, Director of the Authority, thanked the university for holding this day, considering it a qualitative opportunity to open new horizons for cooperation and a turning point in the scientific process, noting its importance for researchers and students alike.
The scientific day included thirteen lectures distributed in two sessions:

The session’s research centered on Stem cell extraction and its uses in medical fields

The second session centered on modern and promising methods in the treatment of some types of cancers, and the applications of molecular biotechnology in the field of medicinal plants and microbiology.
