‘READ‘: A message from God to the sensible people.

Based on the belief that knowledge is the noble means of building human beings. A group of enlightened patriotic and science believers from the Qalamoon region, raising the slogan “With science, nations rise”, met to establish the first company on June 9, 2002. And during the following year, the Qalamoon Private University was established under Presidential Decree 293, which marked the first important event in the history of private higher education in Syria.

This would not have been possible without the patience and tireless efforts of the company’s founders, who have seen the fruit of their efforts materialize in a university that is the pinnacle of the country’s universities.  The building of which combined both faith and love; faith in science and love for the homeland.

To such purpose, a group of engineers, technicians and workers joined forces, forming a great team, and working hard until the dream became a reality. They began to build one building after another, and the university began to expand witnessed by its students. The university and its students grew side by side until it became a promising small city – thanks to the efforts of its workers- to serve our dear students.

The company manages all the facilities attached to the university and serves it as required to ensure the best possible educational process, including student housing and housing for professors and administrators. The number of hotel rooms allocated to students has reached about (2000) rooms, accommodating about two thousand students, while professors and administrators have been allocated more than two hundred apartments inside and outside the campus.

Student and administrative housing and the services attached to it are one of the important factors that characterize the university, and constitute one of the many attractions for a large segment of expatriates, as they entrust their children within the campus. Student rooms are equipped with the required amenities such as a private bathroom, hot water, centralized heating, adequate kitchens, internet and telephone services, and more.

All fifteen buildings are served by permanent maintenance and continuous cleaning, in addition to the presence of supervisors around the clock, who take care of any request and identify any emergency.

The company also provides transportation for students, professors and employees, and for this purpose it has provided a group of modern buses equipped with the best amenities, driven by drivers with long experience in this field.

The company manages the central restaurant with an area of three thousand square meters, which has a capacity of more than 1200 chairs, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner meals throughout the day at affordable prices, while maintaining high nutritional value.

The company has built the necessary facilities to improve and support the educational institution with all its departments and faculties. For this purpose, it built educational buildings distributed into halls and auditoriums, well-equipped laboratories, and a central library with the capacity of 1000 students. The library is equipped with tables for traditional reading, in addition to more than 150 computers for electronic reading.  The company has also built an open theater with a capacity of 3000 spectators where various events and annual graduation ceremonies are held.

The sports city, which includes a soccer field and a group of basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts, in addition to an indoor hall that includes a basketball court, iron games, aerobics, and others.

The company built a mosque inside the campus, between the educational buildings and the residential university city.

To complement the educational process and fulfill the accreditation requirements of the Faculty of Medicine, the company established the teaching hospital, which has become a clinical medical reference for medical students and a safe haven for patients from the region. This hospital includes the Department of General and Endoscopic Surgery, Cardiac Surgery, Urology, Thoracic Surgery, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Neurology, Orthopedics, Plastic and Maxillofacial Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology and others. The hospital is equipped with a radiography department, including a resonator, CT scanner and other Echo devices, and the cardiac catheterization department is equipped with the latest equipment in the world.

In addition, there is an outpatient department, a general laboratory, a pathology laboratory, an operating department consisting of eight fully equipped rooms, an ambulance, a central pharmacy, a nutrition clinic, and a physiotherapy department. These departments and divisions were equipped with all the necessary medical and service equipment according to the principles and principles set by the Ministries of Health and Higher Education.

Arab and international accreditation requirements have been adopted in this regard.
