The Internship Exam at the Faculty of Pharmacy in the Presence of Representatives of the Pharmacists Syndicate

The Internship Exam: A Real Step Towards the Professional Field

Within the framework of  Kalamoon University’s ongoing endeavor to transform theoretical knowledge into established practical skills, and stemming from its belief that a competent pharmacist is not formed in classrooms alone, but in real professional arenas, the Faculty of Pharmacy conducted the Internship Exam for its fifth-year students.

In the presence of:

  • Dr. Ibrahim Ismail, President of the Syrian Pharmacists Syndicate
  • Dr. Ayman Aboud, President of the Damascus Countryside Pharmacists Syndicate
  • Dr. Talal Ajlouni, Member of the Central Committee of the Pharmacists Syndicate
  • Dr. Nouha Al-Hakim, Member of the Central Committee of the Pharmacists Syndicate

And under the supervision of:

  • Dr. Mohammed Adel Jawad, University President
  • Dr. Sundus Yassin, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Head of the Scientific Affairs Council
  • Dr. Nehad Haidar, Vice President for Administrative Affairs

The students underwent evaluation interviews aimed at measuring their professional readiness and their ability to deal with the reality of pharmacy work with confidence and efficiency. This exam formed an important station where practical and professional skills are measured, giving the student a new thrust towards the path of pharmaceutical professionalism, amid precise follow-up and continuous support from the University and the Pharmacists Syndicate.

Following the conclusion of the exam, the guests took a tour inside the faculty’s laboratories, accompanied by the University President and teaching staff members. They viewed the laboratory equipment and the academic environment provided by the Faculty to qualify its students according to the highest standards.
