Dear Students:
I would like to welcome you to the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Qalamoon, one of the first private dental schools in our country.
We commence the academic year with a fresh start with the participation of a group of faculty members from all specialties in an effort to make the student the center of the educational process, its fruit and the purpose of its existence with the aim of preparing a highly qualified dentist, qualifying those who are able to pursue specialization or postgraduate studies and scientific research from the applied and clinical aspects. We also aim at developing the spirit of scientific teamwork to contribute to ensuring the best oral and dental health for society and working to refine the personality of the dental student to be a successful doctor.
In its quest to achieve excellence and leadership, the headquarter of the University alongside that of the faculty are keen to provide a teaching staff of all scientific ranks who are capable of teaching and development, which the university of Qalamoon seeks to localize, while providing material, technical and educational resources that help the teaching staff to publish excellent scientific and applied research.
In order for the teaching process to be effective, the university presidency has been keen to provide a specialized administrative staff that will increase performance.
The university also seeks to enhance scientific and cognitive cooperation with dental colleges in the country’s universities and attract distinguished expertise to advance students to the desired level
Once again, we welcome our dear students to the University of Qalamoon, the heart of Syrian private universities, and we wish you a distinguished, fruitful and good university life, wishing you excellence and success.
In conclusion, I call upon my colleagues, professors, and teachers, as well as administrators and technicians, to be responsible and work in a team spirit.
We also call on our students to take advantage of all the possibilities provided by the university to serve them so that they are qualified to carry the mission of the faculty and achieve the university’s vision in order to serve their homelands.

Mission of The Faculty:
Preparing dentists who are highly competent in treating patients and ensuring the quality of clinical and professional performance, capable of competing locally and regionally, and qualified to pursue specialized postgraduate studies.
Goals of The Faculty:
- Developing university dental education and keeping pace with the development in the means and methods of scientific and educational research in dentistry.
- Work to train students to work as a single dental medical team.
- Developing intellectual, social, cultural and professional skills in order to refine the personality of the student who is qualified to work as a successful dentist.
- Promote scientific and skilled cooperation in dentistry with colleges and scientific institutions of dentistry in our country, Arab and foreign countries.

All of them are equipped with the latest equipment, such as demonstration aids, projectors, practical application tasks and computer screens for live demonstration.
Each laboratory can accommodate a maximum of 20 students, allowing the student to receive information better.
Dental clinics:
There are five clinics equipped with the finest dental units, four of which include 20 units, and the fifth includes 40 units.
Taking into account the left-handed students, these clinics were placed at the service of patients and visitors to provide quality medical service.
