Towards Exceptional Clinical Practice in Dentistry
Under the patronage of Dr. Mohammed Adel Jawad, President of the University of Kalamoon, and in cooperation with Anas & Abboud Dental Supply Companies, the Faculty of Dentistry organized a scientific day entitled “Towards Exceptional Clinical Practice in Dentistry.”
The event was inaugurated by the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Fadi Aljoudeh, who expressed his profound gratitude to the University and its management for their unwavering support, which serves as a cornerstone in advancing the academic mission across all faculties. Dr. Aljoudeh welcomed the honorable attendees and announced the commencement of a scientific day packed with a series of specialized lectures.
The lectures were delivered by an elite group of highly experienced and skilled dental professionals, most notably:
Prof. Dr. Omar Heshmeh, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at Damascus University, presented a lecture titled: “Benign Cystic Lesions of the Jaws.”
Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Na’ssani, Vice President of Aleppo University for Scientific Affairs, presented a lecture titled: “The Effect of Different Dentin Caries Layers and Ribbond Fibers on the Marginal Seal of Composite Restorations.”
Prof. Dr. Shaza Qanout, Secretary of the Syrian Association of Aesthetic Dentistry, presented a lecture titled: “Fundamentals of Porcelain Laminate Veneer Preparation.”
Prof. Dr. Nabil Qushaji, Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, presented a lecture titled: “Histological Analysis: A Luxury or a Duty?”
Prof. Dr. Yasser Rashidat, Vice President of the Syrian Association of Orthodontics, presented a lecture titled: “Body Posture and Dentistry.”
Dr. Mazen Murad, Specialist in Restorative Dentistry and Supervisor of Composite Applications at the National Dental Center (NDC), presented a lecture titled: “A Practical Guide to Composite Restorations (Clinical Cases).”
The scientific lectures concluded with the presentation of appreciation certificates to the esteemed lecturers, in recognition of their efforts and active role in elevating the academic standard. The University commended the significant added value each lecture provided, reaffirming its continued support for purposeful scientific activities.
