The Faculty of Law and Humanities at the University of Kalamoon: the dean, faculty members (academic, technical—including judges and lawyers…), and administrative staff welcome you to this digital platform. This platform was established to facilitate communication with our university community, including faculty, students, families, and those interested in academic and scientific research. The Faculty of Law and Humanities holds great significance because the progress of nations and peoples is measured by their respect for the law and their commitment to the principle of the rule of law. This principle ensures that both rulers and citizens are subject to the law, as law plays a vital role in organizing societal relations, maintaining stability, and fostering trust, security, and reassurance among citizens.
Thus, the Faculty of Law and Humanities at the University of Kalamoon undertakes the responsibility of spreading legal knowledge and culture among individuals and institutions—both public and private—to uphold human dignity. It consistently raises the banner of justice and truth.
In fulfilling its mission and achieving its goals, the Faculty adheres to a commitment to quality in both objectives and the means to attain them. The Faculty places special emphasis on integrating modern technology into education, employing the best teaching methods, applied learning, and practical training. This includes collaboration with legal professionals such as judges, lawyers, police officers, notaries, and union representatives, as well as organizing seminars, workshops, and conferences. These efforts focus on enhancing students’ professional, legal, and social skills to prepare them for the job market, equipping them to excel in both theoretical and practical legal fields.

Mission of the Faculty:
The Faculty of Law and Humanities at the University of Kalamoon is committed to disseminating high-quality legal education that aligns with contemporary envelopments and modern legal thought, addressing market needs by graduating students equipped with foundational legal principles and practical legal knowledge required by government institutions, the job market and the professional practice environments.
The Faculty further aims to develop competent professionals capable of understanding the mechanisms of international relations and their management methods, and possessing the basics of the science of international relations theories, as well as how to approach the social phenomenon legally and politically.
Goals of the Faculty:
The Faculty of Law and Humanities at the University of Kalamoon aims to achieve the following:
- To prepare and graduate qualified professionals, both academically and practically, for positions in the public and private sectors, particularly in the judiciary, legal practice, public administration, and legal consultancy.
- To produce graduates who meet the standards of major legal colleges worldwide.
- To train specialized professionals who are well-versed in regional and global issues and capable of addressing them effectively based on sound knowledge and skills.
- To supply the job market with specialists in international relations, particularly in diplomacy, consular work, international organizations, media institutions, and research centers.
- To enhance scientific research policies and methodological tools in legal studies to ensure efficient application of the legal system and contribute to its development.
- To promote the culture of scientific research in the field of international relations.
- To contribute to the development and translation of legal literature, both within the faculty and in collaboration with other law, political science, and media faculties in different universities.
- To provide the job market with skilled professionals in various disciplines who can meet its needs with maximum efficiency.
- To connect the faculty with the society by:
- Producing outstanding graduates in specialized fields needed by the local and Arab community.
Cooperating with competent official and non-official institutions to refine students’ practical legal and political knowledge and create professionals capable of engaging with various branches of humanities using the latest methods and approaches
Based on the proposal of the Faculty of Law and Humanities and the approval of the University Council, the University of Kalamoon awards a Bachelor’s Degree in Law upon the completion of 142 credit hours over four academic years.
Additionally, a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy may be awarded upon the establishment of the department.
The Faculty’s recent establishment in the academic year (2019-2020) has led it to initially limit its offerings to the opening of the (Law Department), consisting of two sections: (Public Law and Private Law), while the launch of the (International Relations and Diplomacy Department) has been postponed.
