Graduation Ceremony of the Nineteenth Cohort 2024-2025

The University of Kalamoon, under the patronage of Dr. Mohammed Adel Jawad, the University President, held the graduation ceremony for its Nineteenth Cohort of the academic year 2024/2025. The event took place on Thursday, July 17, 2025, in the Grand Auditorium, attended by members of Al-Nibras Company’s board of directors, university vice presidents, faculty deans, faculty and administrative staff, and the graduates’ families.
The ceremony began with a moment of silence honoring the martyrs of our beloved nation, followed by the university anthem. Graduates then entered to the rhythm of celebratory music (Haila Haila). Following this, the following student representatives delivered speeches on behalf of their fellow graduates: Mohammed Hisham Al-Jumaa from the Faculty of Medicine, Nour Raad from the Faculty of Dentistry, Nadia Qureish Sahloul from the Faculty of Pharmacy. In their speeches, they expressed profound gratitude for the university’s unwavering efforts, support, and guidance throughout their academic journey.
In his address, the University President began by congratulating both the graduates and their families. He urged them to uphold integrity and dedication in their professional lives, while continually applying their acquired knowledge toward nation-building. Concluding his speech, he reassured them that the university’s doors would always remain open to help overcome any future challenges they might encounter.
The ceremony then proceeded with the professional oath administration for medical faculties where medical students recited their oath under the guidance of Dr. Noumeir Daaboul, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, pharmacy and dentistry students recited their oath under the guidance of Dr. Sundus Yassin, Chair of the Scientific Affairs Council.
Then came the long-awaited moment of the day: His Excellency the University President officially announced the graduation of the Nineteenth Cohort.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all graduates, with aspirations that they will emerge as torchbearers of knowledge, marching forward in the procession of progress and development, architects of a brighter future.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the honorable parents for their unwavering dedication, patience, and steadfast support throughout their children’s educational journey – a journey that now stands as a crowning achievement of perseverance and a shining testament to commitment and success.

Syrian Flower” exhibition in the Faculty of Media and Applied Arts”
/in news /by Wajdan.UOKUniversity of Kalamoon inaugurated the “Syrian Flower” exhibition in the lobby of the Faculty of Media and Applied Arts, which represents an innovative artistic experience of the artist Sumaya Zahra, who confirmed, through combining art and nature, that art has a special language that touches hearts and stirs feelings. There were many pictures which were displayed for the first time and showed the Syrian flower life’s development between past and present.
The exhibition reflects the university’s strong commitment to support art and culture and its hard work to enforce their effect on creativity in the region. Also, it is considered an additional asset for the students of Information and Applied Arts who are inspired by the art work and creativity of the region’s people.
The exhibition was attended by the Dean of Information and Applied Arts Faculty, Dr. Ghassan Abou Janab and a group of instructors, administrators and students.
