Under the gracious patronage of His Excellency the President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Mr. Ahmad al-Shar’, inaugurated in the heart of Damascus, the capital, is an annual economic and cultural event that reflects Syria’s strength and vision for the future.
The University of Qalamoon participated in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s pavilion with a notable and effective presence, showcasing distinguished student projects that align with academic, research, and technological advancements, alongside significant publications and informative displays about the university.
The first day of the fair witnessed kind visits from Dr. Marwan Halabi, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and his deputies, Dr. Mohammad Yusr Barakat, Minister of Finance, and Dr. Raed al-Saleh, Minister of Civil Defense, along with presidents of universities, members of educational bodies, and a multitude of individuals interested in scientific, cultural, and developmental affairs. These visits aim to highlight the university’s educational journey and its contributions to the development of higher education in Syria.
Dr. Mohammad Adel Jawad, President of the University of Qalamoon, conducted a tour of the ministry’s pavilion, examining the participating universities, industrial, media, and economic institutions, emphasizing the importance of this fair in supporting scientific and research endeavors and highlighting its vital role in supporting reconstruction and establishing a culture of innovation and openness to the world.
It is worth noting that the Damascus International Fair continues until the fifth of September, opening its doors daily to visitors, serving as a national platform for scientific and cultural exchange, and providing an opportunity for direct interaction between institutions and society.

Under the esteemed patronage of President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Mr. Ahmad Al-Shar’, the 62nd Damascus International Fair was inaugurated in the heart of the capital, standing as an annual economic and cultural event that reflects Syria’s resilience and forward-looking vision.
The University of Kalamoun participated prominently within the pavilion of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, presenting outstanding student projects that demonstrate alignment with current academic, research, and technological developments. The display also included university publications and introductory presentations.
The first day of the fair was honored by visits from H.E. Dr. Marwan Halabi, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, along with his assistants; H.E. Dr. Mohammad Yusr Baranya, Minister of Finance; and Mr. Raed Al-Saleh, Minister of Emergency and Disaster Relief; in addition to several university presidents, faculty members, and numerous figures interested in scientific, cultural, and developmental affairs.
