Marking an enthusiastic start to the academic week, Dr. Ruba Yasin launched the Monday Scientific and Cultural Lecture series with a captivating session titled “Motivations and Goals: Reigniting Your Passion.”

Dr. Yasin began by exploring the relationship between motivations and goals, demonstrating their direct impact on sustaining passion. She emphasized the importance of setting clear objectives and highlighted how intrinsic motivation serves as the key driver for maintaining enthusiasm and pursuing success.

The lecture introduced several practical strategies for rediscovering passion in both personal and professional contexts, with special focus on overcoming daily challenges that affect motivation. Dr. Yasin concluded by presenting the “Achievement Motivation Map” as a tool for aligning goals with personal aspirations.

The audience actively engaged with the presentation, creating a dynamic and interactive atmosphere throughout the lecture.

In line with its commitment to fostering academic collaboration and scientific exchange, the Faculty of Dentistry at University of Kalamoon, in partnership with SAMS association, organized a distinguished scientific lecture titled “Fundamentals of Bone Grafting,” presented by Dr. Maher Jandali.

The lecture highlighted the latest advancements in dental treatments and intraoral bone grafting techniques, detailing various types of grafts, their extraction methods, and clinical applications. Dr. Jandali demonstrated how modern dentistry combines science and art to deliver revolutionary therapeutic solutions, transforming advanced techniques into powerful tools that ensure faster, more precise treatments with exceptional aesthetic and functional outcomes.

The Future of Software Industry in Syria: Opportunities and Horizons

In our contemporary world where technology permeates every aspect of daily life, and where no sector remains untouched by the influence of software and smart devices—the very backbone connecting all modern systems—the Faculty of Engineering at University of Kalamoon organized a distinguished scientific lecture titled “The Future of Software Industry in Syria: Opportunities and Prospects.”

As part of the University’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the knowledge of its students and faculty, the event featured Eng. Alaa Al-Mughrabi, former instructor at University of Kalamoon and currently a Lead Cloud Computing Programmer in the Netherlands.

Eng. Al-Mughrabi addressed the challenges and opportunities facing engineers in this rapidly evolving sector, outlining the fundamental skills every engineer should master. He highlighted the competence and ingenuity of Syrian programmers while discussing the obstacles they encounter, emphasizing the importance of integration and enhanced collaboration among programming teams to improve work efficiency.

Towards the conclusion, he explored the significant impact of artificial intelligence on software development and advised students on the necessity of continuous skill development, stressing that success in this field requires adaptability to rapid changes and ongoing learning.
